Counselling

Clients can be referred from other organisations surgeries etc, phone or call in to make an appointment. We aim to see them within five days.

The first appointment is an initial assessment which lasts around 15-20minutes. This is to gather details of the client’s background etc and the presenting issue. This tells us if counselling would be beneficial.

The client is then matched to one of our counsellors and the first session will be arranged during the next seven days.

Because we have a bank of volunteer counsellors we are able to arrange appointments quickly and efficiently.

Our Volunteer Counsellors work using various counselling approaches, so we are able to deal with a diversity of issues.
